WasteWise's Residential Recycling service is designed to provide maximum value through efficiency. We accept a long list (see here) of commingled commodities. The sustainability of the program depends upon the informed participation of our customers. Every curbside bin has a recycling guide under the lid. Only the items in the blue box are accepted in the blue bin. Anything in the bin that isn't on that list is considered contamination. Contamination increases processing costs and ultimately threatens the sustainability of our program. Our Residential Recycling rate covers one pickup per month, but it includes an unlimited quantity of accepted recyclables. This is how WasteWise can cost-effectively offer commingled recycling service to everyone in our rural community.
